Sea Cuisine.

It was my close friend’s birthday and she requested for Thai food for her birthday dinner, again… Last year, we were at Amarin Heavenly Thai. This year, I discovered Flying Chillies, which is located at The Gardens. It is under the same management with Amarin Heavenly Thai, which is Sea Cuisine. Here’s what we had…

Pandan leaves chicken (4 pieces) (RM15++) -> quite good, but not as tasty as those in Amarin Heavenly Thai, which costs RM16++ for 5 piecesPineapple fried rice (RM16.50++) -> this was really great! but I think it’s slightly expensive, however, despite the price, it is really worth a try, highly recommendedTomyam seafood soup in hotpot (for 2 person) (RM25.50++) -> the soup was quite tasty, but the prawns were not freshGreen curry chicken (RM15++) -> very tasty with thick curry, recommended, portion slightly smaller than Amarin Heavenly Thai Generally, Flying Chillies is worth a try. The price range is almost same with Amarin Heavenly Thai. The main difference should be… Amarin Heavenly Thai serves white rice (RM2.50 per person) and plain water (RM0.50 per person) with unlimited refill. On the other hand, Flying Chillies serves white rice at RM2.50 per plate and it does not serve plain water. Hence, the minimum cost for drinks would be mineral water which is RM4 per bottle.
